Kubernetes Cluster Migration - Replicate Environments Across Clusters | Codiac

Cluster hopping lets you replicate environments across clusters and run zero-downtime cluster upgrades (blue/green). Management is done in the web UI.

What you'll get​

  • Replicate a cabinet or environment to a new cluster (e.g. new Kubernetes version)
  • Blue/green cutover: validate on the new cluster, then switch traffic
  • Roll back by switching traffic back to the old cluster

Prerequisites​

  • Codiac account with at least one cluster and cabinet
  • A second cluster (or create one) for the target of the hop
